Since the inception of the big bang coming from various talented female acts in Nigeria, We have had, lots of wonderful ladies smash the industry with creative arts.

Today we bring you just 5 of them.

In 2009, Eva released “I Dey Play” as her first ever studio recording. The song features Tha Suspect and was recorded over Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” instrumental. Her rap cover on ICE PRINCE’S SHOT ON SHOTS was a mad hit with her punchlines coming hard, back to back. We definitely miss this rap Queen.

On 22 August 2013, Cynthia Morgan signed a recording contract with Northside Entertainment Inc. owned by Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye. Few months later, she released two chart-topping singles “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On” which got positive reviews from fans; the latter went on to be nominated for “Best Reggae/Dancehall Single” at The Headies 2014
She is currently working on her debut album as she now goes with a new name MADRINA. it’s been a while and we hope she comes up with something thrilling again.

In 2011, she released the Sound Sultan-assisted to single “Jankoliko”. Her eponymous debut album Chidinma was released through the music platform Spinlet, and was supported by four singles: “Jankoliko”, “Carry You Go”, “Kedike” and “Run Dia Mouth”
She also became the first female singer to peak at the MTV Base official Naija countdown in the year 2011 with her official single “Emi ni baller“.

Aituaje Iruobe, known professionally as Waje, is a Nigerian singer whose vocal range covers three octaves. She first gained recognition after being featured on the remake of P-Square’s “Omoge Mi”. Waje was also featured on the duo’s 2008 hit track “Do Me”.

Moreover she contributed vocals to Banky W’s “Thief My Kele” and M.I’s “One Naira”. In 2016, Waje was one of the four judges in the inaugural season of The Voice Nigeria.
In an interview last year she stated that she was quitting music due to lack of fans support. we truly miss her.

Splash rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing her hit single “Church Agbasa” a song that made her a public figure. The song “Church Agbasa” topped many charts in Nigeria and received several positive reviews and commercial success. Splash draws comparison with Nigerian greatest indigenous rapper Phyno because of her unique style and concept of rapping in the Igbo language.
Right now there’s barely any new release from her but we surely miss her creativity.
