Andersen James is a fast rising act killing it big in the Alternative/Conscious root/rock/contemporary  genre of the industry; he releases the vocals for his banging single and titles this one – “Hey my Lover”,a track that sees him dropping some very explosive, yet cool harmonics, root rock style.

Hey my Lover  is a wonderful and superb track that kinda resurrects some consciousness, albeit romantically, especially as Andersen James sings sonorously, serenading his love interest, while soliciting for her love. I loved the profoundness of the lyrics, the simplicity of the vocals and consistency of the beats.

The track was produced by Sownick, and he did a nice job combining root rock beats over our signatory Naija flavored beats, then blending it quite nicely to the amazement of the listener. I also loved the manner in which Andersen James jumped on the song, making it his turf and singing sonorously too.

Hey my Lover is a track that brings alternative/conscious back to focus, and with the dearth of practitioners in this genre, Andersen James kinda reawakens it and I truly felt the song, even as it sensually cascades down, pleasing the auditory perception of not just me, but whoever that has ears for good music.

I encourage y’all fans of Alternative/Roots to go check this sound out by downloading and sharing this nice musical piece!
