Aworan Jesu, real names BADMUS OLUWATOBI FESTUS , is an indigenous contemporary Gospel Music act blazing the trail in this genre, and drops this wonderful rendition of praise and worship he titles – Emi Mimo.

Emi mimo which translates thus as The Holy One in English, is a Yoruba language song that glorifies God, praising him, revering his holy name with a contrite heart and spirit. I especially loved the backup the song enjoys, where the female choristers superbly added their sonorous voices to raise the decibel of the song, giving the song some regal profoundness, one that reflects via the nice and well orchestrated lyrics that suites the context of the song.

Aworan Jesu is a true vocalist who understands his art as evident in the manner he tactfully rendered this song, ensuring that he resonates the spirit of the listener to join in the chorus singing, with all the gusto one could muster.

The track was produced by Tom Jay who made a nice intro with the perfect usage of sounds, especially with the flute blaring prominently in the background, then the pure and undiluted effort made by the guitar , then routinely spiced up with the successive beats that matches the tempo of the song sending you straight to worship mode.

Aworan Jesu is an artist with immnese talent and introspection, and he very well did a nice job on this track. I can say this with every sense of fulfillment that the song has all the signatures of success embedded in it- so I urge y’all fans of this genre of gospel to go download and feel the intensity of this wonderful piece of work!
