Okay, Broda Shaggi whose real name is Animashaun Samuel Perry is a popular Nigerian comedian, actor, scriptwriter, visual artist and director born on July 6.

Broda Shaggi is also a singer and voice over artiste whose musical genre is Afro pop. Although his songs are as crazy as himself, no beginning no end, just like his “f*CK you” cover.

He is well known for his comedy skits which he shares on Instagram and YouTube but his big break came through with his comedy skit “Jesu in Mushin”. The comedy skit opened up doors of recognition, fame and popularity…. Eh I know it’s the same but take it like that

He obtained a Bachelor in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos. His late dad was a teacher at Junior School, Ikenne, Ogun state.

He started comedy many years ago while in the University. He created a lot of characters like the policeman character, the Mr Perry character and others before he later settled for Broda shaggi.

When asked on how he ended up with the name “Broda Shaggi” he said he overheard some mechanics playing around with the name on his character and the name really stuck to him so he flowed with it.

Broda Shaggi has been recognized in the industry for his hilarious comedy and uniqueness of character.

He has got numerous nominations such as The Future Awards Africa Nigeria Prize for Comedy and City People Music Award for Comedy Act of the Year.

Broda Shaggi’s net worth has not been revealed but he is believed to worth over #60 million from his earnings in his comedy skits and as an artiste.

He got signed to the much coveted 30 billion gang, which is home to David, mayorkun, lil frosh, dremo and others. Even though I don’t know what he is signing that they are signing him. Lol

Well he is really doing great for himself and his brand as he now has a YouTube Series and episodes of his adventures in Lagos and the Shaggi Palava.
