Today we are looking at BURNABOY and WIZKID because obviously these two artist have made a massive impact in the world music industry over the past years. first we have Burna Boy.

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, is an afrobeat sensational artist.

He rose to prominence in 2012 with his hit song LIKE TO PARTY which was off his debut album L.I.F.E
he has steadily got the Naija airwaves banging with his songs and it seems like he’s going to be around for a long time. lately he started coming out with the world famous FELA music style in songs like ANYBODY, YE, DANGOTE and many more which saw him to high musical levels as he started getting more fans on the foreign base.

In his hit track DANGOTE he refers to African multi billionaire Aliko Dangote, Chairman of the DANGOTE group as a man still working for more money despite his wealth. he urges to youths to keep pushing for more finances. with over six figures on streams and making it to the number 1 several times on the iTunes music store, Burna Boy has gotten far and extended his music around the world.

Burna Boy is currently signed to Bad habits/Atlantic records and Warner music group internationally. In 2019 he won the award for BEST INTERNATIONAL ACT at the 2019 BET AWARDS. his fourth studio Album AFRICA GIANT won Album of the year at the 2019 AFRIMA and was nominated for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.

Since he stepped in the music scene he has won many awards like THE HEADIES, MTV Africa music awards, Soundcity MVP awards festival, Nigeria entertainment awards and many more.

He has performed at multiple shows around the world and He recorded “Ja Ara E” (Yoruba: “wise up” or “use your head”) for Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift and was the only guest artist with their own track on the soundtrack album.

Starboy whose real names are Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (born 16 July 1990), known professionally as Wizkid is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.
he started out very early at the age of eleven and in 2009 he got signed to EME (Empire mates entertainment) coming to ith multiple bangers in one album, WIZKID rose to prominence with his debut album SUPERSTAR… Hmmmm we can remember those nice bahd guy songs then right?
songs like HOLLA AT YOUR BOY, PAKURUMO, BAD GUYS, DON’T DULL and many others.

In February WIZKID became the first ever Nigerian artist to have over a million followers on twitter. He dropped another hit album AYO which had songs like JAIYE JAIYE ft Legendary Femi Kuti, ON TOP YOUR MATTER and many more…. we can say WIZKID was the Mr lover lover and got them gyals falling over his sensational voice and swag.

In 2016, Wizkid achieved international recognition following his collaboration with Drake on the global hit, “One Dance”, which reached number one in 15 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. He signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records in March 2017.
He has featured on many international songs with artists like Drake, Skepta, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Lil wayne, R2bees and many more.

WIZKID has a total of over 45 award, international and local awards. two times winner of the BET AWARDS, GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS, AFRIMA 4 times winner, MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS, HEADIES 8 times winner and many more awards.
