Tuesdays is one day of the week we love taking things a little slow and cool.

To match the feeling, we compiled for your listening, streaming and downloading pleasure a potpourri of cool Nigerian Blues MUSIC from some of the best in this genre of the Industry.

So sit back and relax while we get your Tuesday of on a slow, rhythmic and symphonic mode.

1. Shine by Johnny Drille

We start the second day of the week on a motivational note with this beautiful and inspiring tune by Johnny Drille and he titles this one – Shine

A track with one of the most awesome and ingenuous lyrics I’ve heard in a song in a long while. John Drille brings his sophistication in the Afro country rhythmic sound, one that will sink so deep and keep you refreshed.

2. Forever by John Drille

Johnny Drille assumes the second coveted spot on this list yet again with yet another conversational tune he calls- Forever

Another beautiful and awe-inspiring rendition with ethereal beats and symphony, one so profound, comprehensive and at the same time rhythmically confounding to say the least, quite suitable to take off some work stress while keeping you strongly motivated.

3. Heal D World by Patoranking

when this awesome tune that sounded like a philharmonic orchestra was released last year by Patoranking; Heal D World became a conscious anthem played on almost every radio station to showcase the effects of war and strife.

The song also acts as a tonic to assuage the feeling of those under the duress caused by these worldly disasters.

I truly loved the addition of backup choristers towards the end of the song and the beautiful transition that ensued thereon.

4. Super Sun (remix) by Bez feat Eldee, Ice Prince & Eva

Bez truly did a fine work in this tune, and when he decided to remix it bringing three super duper lyricists (Eldee, Ice Prince and Eva); it was just a matter of time for this beautiful quartet to be the signatory tune for inspiration and strength- Super Sun

Super Sun Remix remains one of the best works put out by this highly talented yet underrated Star- Bez, and the addition of the trio of Eldee, Ice Prince & Eva gave it the sophistication it yearned for and a tune that gives you the listener that feeling of contentment and motivation.

5. Serenade by Funbi

Serenade is one fine piece that further cements Funbi’s place as one of the best Alternative Pop artist in the game.

This is a romantic song that sets you in the mood for relaxation, it tells the story of love and commitment, and Funbi via the beautiful lyrics he enlisted in this song, made the message deep, especially for them beautiful ladies and mamas who feel they could use some Serenading.

6. No be me by Brymo

Brymo truly took the music to the listener in this cleanly done and supersonic sound he calls- No be me.

A classic rendition that brings back the former chocolate city ace to reckoning. The song could be likened to a conscious tune with a soft and conscientious delivery.

7. Love you anyway by Ric Hassani

Ric Hassani remains one of the finest acts in the biz, and he comes out strong in this romantic piece he christens- Love you anyway.

You’d be dazed and mesmerized by the beautiful harmonics this piece packs in it, I also loved the transition and beautiful candor expressed in this romantic piece.

8. Ayo by Simi

Mrs Adekunle GoldSimi, gets on the motivational side in this beautiful slow rhythmic piece she titles- Ayo

A beautiful song showcasing the beautiful soul of this song bird and diva, truly one of the best songs you’ll get to hear this 2019.

9. Playlist by M.I feat Nonso Amadi

The incredible one-M.I Abaga brings in Alternative pop Headies Nominee (Nonso Amadi); in this track- Playlist, coming off the former’s album (Rendezvous).

A track that espouses the romantic side of M.I as he vibes with Nonso Amadi albeit in a Hip Hop style but gentle and cool in every regard.

10. Jaiye (Time of our lives) by Ladipoe

Jaiye (Time of our lives) by Ladipoe brings this dude to the notice of many lovers of this genre of music. I truly loved the intro of this sound and how the latter carried the music to his listeners.

It is a song that helps you loosen and live life to its fullest with no inhibitions whatsoever.

***Editor’s Pick- Shine by Johnny Drille***
