In the year 2017, Davido released a song titles “Fall” and it really enjoyed alot of streams and downloads.

Fast forward into this month, The song became certified Gold by Sony.

Just in case you don’t know what it means for a song to be certified Gold, let me break it down for you.

The platinum certification was introduced in 1976 for the sale of one million units for albums and two million for singles, with the gold certification redefined to mean sales of 500,000 units for albums and one million for singles. 

This means that Davido’s song “Fall” has had over one million sales in music stores worldwide.

Davido has really had a wonderful time in the industry with most of his singles going high on the charts and breaking the banks in the music market.

Fall is a song that talks about the struggles of a Normal teenage relationship.

In 2018 fall became the most viewed Nigerian Music Video with over 100 million views.

The visuals to “Fall was shot outside Nigeria and had very good scenes.

The hit song was produced by hit producer “Kiddominat” and it was released off Davido’s second Studio album “Good time”.
