Hip Hop could still be at its finest when top lyrical hot heads like DynamiQ are still lacing their flows in the game, and this new song he calls “Wavey” is one hardcore trap song that will leave you in awe as you listen to this poetic verses only the likes of Nas and Mode 9 (and yours truly), can only appreciate.
DynamiQ who even describes himself as Shakespeare (which I truly concur); took the song to his critics and lovers and all those who believe in the Hip Hop Renaissance , then subtly waved it back straight to the very height that only true hip hop lovers can get to. Its been a while I’ve heard someone with this level of words mastery and usage. When you talk about dope rhymes, well layered and filled with profound literary perfection, then Wavey is the track where you find it all.
Another thing you’ll find quite strange yet thrilling is the transition of the song when he switches tempo and flow without losing sight of the message the song portrays, and perfectly maintaining his pace with the beat while delivering his lines sublimely, showcasing his lyrical dexterity that even Chairman MI Abaga who’d envy.
Wavey is a track where you get the narration and the story in clear cut hip-hop language, a little infusion of trap and straight rap even makes the song all hardcore, dope and cool, I think DynamiQ just got inducted into my elitist movement- The Hip Hop Renaissance, that only two lyricists (Gidzeey and Laced Flow) are a part of (Welcome DynamiQ).
The track was produced by R. Groove who did quite a nice job blending the beat and the tempo with the vocals to produce a song that only opinionated hip-hop fans who’d love.
DynamiQ, who by the way is celebrating his birthday today, really got me and I urge all hip-hop buffs, critics and hardcore rap fans to go download this track, and then flow with him “…breaking records like I’m Guinness…
We also use this medium to wish him a happy birthday even as he gifts his fans with this dope sound well cooked and prepped for the top!
