Gidzeey, the one we rechristened on these pages as the Lyrical Godzilla, one of the most underrated yet phenomenal lyricists in the Nigerian Hip Hop scenes; is set to drop his sophomore album.

The Album, which he titles – Reality Check, is a compilation of eight songs laced with super-rich features that had an assemblage of some of the best lyricists and vocalists to help add more pep to this beautiful work of art.

Gidzeey decided to experiment with different sounds here, he made some very bold and savvy moves infusing classic hip-hop, afrobeat, trap, and the naija conventional beat.

He also showcased his vocal abilities, maintained his sublime lyricism, deep insights, raw and ingenious punchlines, inflections, and sophisticated wordplay, then finished with a rhyme pattern that set this lyrical monster way ahead of his time.

Reality Check is a collection of sounds that appeal to every person with a sophisticated auditory perception, and profound understanding of how good a music sound and beat should be.

With an impressive Discography, especially with songs- Mummy Why, Smoke, Fvck the Government, etc. Gidzeey truly did a fantastic job with this new project.
