The richest man on Earth according to Forbes founded Amazon, an e – commerce business in 1994. The business began in his garage back then in Seattle. He is currently the CEO of Amazon with nearly 12% of the companies shares.

As at 2018, Amazon had $230 billion in revenues with a record of $10 billion in net profit, up from a net profit of $3 billion in 2017.

Jeff Bezos also owns the Washington Post and Blue Origin with an aerospace company that is developing a rocket for commercial use.
He is at 56 years of age, currently divorced and a father to 4 legal children from his divorced wife.

His educational degree is a Bachelor of Arts/Science from Princeton university.
His famous quote is “I didn’t think I’d regret trying and failing. And I suspected I would always be haunted by a decision to not try at all”.
