King Okanz, an indigenous and conscious rapper/vocalist, makes some strides into the scene with this native afro-hop and high-life sound titled – “sufa sufa”
The song paints the true ills as experienced by the downtrodden and poor in the society. King Okanz sings and raps simultaneously through pain, creativity and fast paced rhymes, as he depicts the real picture of how bad the situation has deteriorated owing to the carelessness of the leaders in tackling these myriad of problems bedeviling the society in general.
Surprisingly, King Okanz shows his vocal and lyrical dexterity as he handles both his verses much to the chagrin and entertainment of the listener; coupled with his penchant for speed rapping and still making some sense, makes this dude one helluva rap artist.
Again, the high-life, afro pop and bongo styled song has a way of reverberating your whole body while you reminisce good times nodding your head profusely while acknowledging the mainstream appeal the song enjoys.
Sufa Sufa was produced by Djfabz who blends both indigenous Naija sounds mixed in afro-pop rhythm to make the song by this final year accounting student of Okopoly; a star to watch out for.
