Medo JB is an upcoming Rapper cum vocalist, and he makes his lyrical and vocal entry with this Afro pop tune and he call this one- Happy Day, a track that reeks of so much mirth and excitement, going by it’s theme.

Happy Day is a track that resumes quite steadily and maintains its tempo as Medo JB sings at first, enunciating what  happy times that culminates in a ‘Happy Day‘ entails, then he progressively drops his top notch lyrics both in his native Yoruba Language then intermittently makes switches between English and the latter. I also loved the hook he enlisted, hear him:

…itz a happy day , happy happy, we gatz celebrate, itz a happy happy day, we gatz jubilate, itz a happy day happy day, pop champagne…”

The track was produced by Professional Beat who made sure he kept the tempo and the pitch consistent and in consonance with both the rhythmic sequence and of course the lyrics. I truly appreciated the proficient usage of the routine afro-contemporary tunes mixed with a deep and reflective naija flavored harmonics, in manner quite soothing and dance mode worthy.

Happy Day is not a bad effort and one thing going strong for this song is its suitability for a wide specter of audience, with no explicit lyrics, but generic lyrical injunctions and nice hook, coupled with the superb transition Medo JB maintained in the course of this entire rendition.
