Original s a Dance Hall aficionado holding it down in this genre as evident in this hot new sound and club banger he calls – “BADDEST” and he features yet another ragga cum afro hop lyricist- Grenade; in a duet that sends you into dance mode as you rock to the rhythmic explosion that the duo drops like it’s hot!
Baddest is a track that celebrates the beautiful endowments of the African woman, in manner quite complementary and entertaining. I loved the intro, laced with steady beats, sensually enticing, albeit explicit but hot and enmeshed in dopeness and originality. I loved the chemistry that Original and Grenade both exuded; one that’ll leave you enthralled in the beauty and intensity of this superb collabo that truly rocks.
The track was produced by 2Flexing, then mixed and mastered by Jaywatz in a manner that sees both sound masters doing a work that’s lit and top notch to say the least. I specifically loved the transition and the vocal strength, as well as the lyrical dexterity of Original and Grenade; I really appreciated the fashion in which they both jumped on the track, flowing with the beats, sinking in the tempo and blending thoroughly with the rhythm.
Baddest is a pretty song with all the bells and rings of what a good sound should be, and it could serve its purpose as a contemporary afro pop tune as well as a song made for the sole purpose of serenading the ladies into submission, while they spread love and beauty with their hot props– you can feel the hook by Original, feel it:
“…cos ur body be d baddest, they are fresh of d market…
