Sommy G is an upcoming afro-pop singer trying to make his mark in the industry, and he does that in style with the release of his solo effort titled “For Your Love ” a song that resumes on a racy pedestal with concise yet animated lyrics that subtly wakes the listener up on his feet.
For Your Love is a rich afro-pop sound enmeshed deep in the naija flavaed beats and clearly made for the generic audience. I specifically appreciated the intro of the track, which sounded more like watching a Hollywood movie trailer; again, Sommy G takes the listener on a romantic journey of love via his well arranged lyrics, not too wordy though, but still strong enough to convey the message the song professes.
The track was mixed and mastered by Kelvin U, who assumed some rather novel production techniques especially with the intro that was quite deep and arresting to say the least. Then the manner in which the lyrics and the beats kinda blended, with the superb delivery by Sommy G makes the song one worth listening to.
For your Love is a song for every audience, mom & pops, kids, and them Slay mamas.
