Nollywood has been doing good and entertaining millions of people across Nigeria over the years and in recent years the Nigeria movie industry had started getting better recognition worldwide.

Recently it was revealed that three Nollywood movies would be shown on the Hollywood movie SHOWCASE this year and finally a selection has been made. This would be the third edition of the Nollywood in Hollywood experience in California.

Below are the names of the three best Nollywood movies that would be showcased;

MERRY MEN 2
This is a comedy/Adventure movie written by popular comedian and actor Ayo Makun, widely known as AY. The Movie was produced by Darlington Abuda and Directed by Moses inwang. it stars Jim Iyke, Ramsey Noah, Ireti Doyle and Nigeria rapper and actor Falz with other A list actors and actresses. Merry Men 2 was released in 2019.

LIVING IN BONDAGE: BREAKING FREE
This movie exposes the life of a young man who gets obsessed with his ambitions for riches and then he goes for wealth in a way that eventually keeps him bond to some spiritual powers. It is actually the continuation for Living in bondage part 1. The movie was produced by Charles Okpaleke and directed by Nigerian film maker and actor Ramsey Noah. it was released in 2019.

THE GHOST AND THE HOUSE OF TRUTH
The story shows us a woman whose passionate career is about reconciliation but when her daughter goes missing, her belief in forgiveness is deeply tested and shaken. It carries a lot of suspense and Rich content. Produced by Ego Boyo and directed by Akin Omotosho this movie was also released in 2019.

The event is set to hold on March 27 and 28 at the prestigious and historic Egyptian theater in Hollywood and at the famous Norris theater on the campus of the university of southern California.

The Nollywood in Hollywood is the biggest display of the Nigeria movie culture outside Africa and it has been a great chance of culture display and Nollywood exposure.
