Was Skales ever big? (Street gist on Gbedustreet)

Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales is a Naija bred artist, full of vibes and good sounds. It was once rumoured that wizkid stole his songs.

Did you know that Skales is an acronym for “seek knowledge and large entrepreneurial skills”?

Skales is a rapper, singer and song-writer. Although he has been doing more of singing lately than rap.

Skales is one artist that really got our hopes high. After spending about 4 years under the “Empire mates entertainment” which was where wizkid had his big break, skales barely made any impact by singles in the music industry during his stay at E.M.E.

Later in 2014, Skales left E.M.E and set up his own record label “OHK Music” but he rarely made any hit until he got signed with one of the biggest deals by “Baseline records”.

He released the song “shake body” and that was his big break. He later became the talk of the town when he featured big artist’s like “Davido”, “Olamide” and others.

After he released “Always” ft Davido and “baby” ft Timaya, he hasn’t really toped the music radar.

Although he has got some crazy hits coming through featuring acts like Akon, Wizkid, Ice Prince and others.

So what do you think?
Can we say that Skales is a big artist?
Can he still come back?
