So this is a major platform. Today we present the star of this week and it’s none other than Eminem!

Marshall Bruce Mathers III was born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the only child of Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr. and Deborah Rae “Debbie” (née Nelson).

He was more of a loner during his early days as friends and family remember Eminem as a happy child, but “a bit of a loner” who was often bullied. One bully, D’Angelo Bailey, severely injured Eminem’s head in an assault.

When it comes to Marshall, he has really gone through a whole lot of down sides during his growing up years. He has been arrested multiple times, suits have been filed and when his childhood friend “Proof” was murdered, Eminem went into depression.

He has a daughter “Hailey” who he loves so much and raps about constantly.

Eminem was a drug addict until he nearly lost his life about 13 years ago, despite the fame and riches, Eminem struggled with depression for most of his career years.

His mother once came on air to say Eminem has bipolar issues when he was young, this was suspected when Eminem’s lyrics spoke about violence and death in a kind of enjoyed way.

He once stated going to church regularly to get clean and retrace his steps, but when he was asked for his autographs at church, he stopped and sought after guide.

On the 21st of April 2020, Eminem celebrated 12 years of staying away from alcohol and cigarettes.

We can clearly say Eminem is a rap legend as he has won multiple awards and been given rap titles like “Rapper of the decade”, “Best Rapper” and many more.

He is also the first artist to have four of his songs on the top Billboard charts since the reign of the Beatles.

Eminem has been praised for his “verbal energy” and lyrical quality and was ranked ninth on MTV’s Greatest MCs of All Time list, In 2003, he was thirteenth on MTV’s 22 Greatest Voices in Music list and 82nd on Rolling Stone’s Immortals list.  In 2008, Vibereaders named Eminem the Best Rapper Alive.

This year he released his latest album “Music to be murdered by” so far the album has climbed high on the charts and the visuals to his hit track “Godzilla” already has nearly 50 million views in less than 3 months.
