Although there are various platforms on which he stepped up to and people tried to pick out the flaws or in balances in his giant steps but then he is truly a legend and I show you today.

 

From his first Album with EME (Empire mates Entertainment) which was home to Skales, shaydee, Banky W and others. Wizkid has never dropped an album lesser than his previous success rate.

 

When it comes to a dancehall artist who turns up the place, wizkid is the DJ’s best bet. Talk about the right kind of groove for any kind of feeling, he’s got them.

 

From songs like *Holla at your boy* to hit sounds like *In my bed* where DJ Exclusive featured him, Wizkid never stops delivering good sounds.

 

Though he isn’t one who rolls with the street a lot, he still got vibes for the streets and these songs made global success rate.

 

Songs like *Ojuelegba*, *Jaiye ft Femi Kuti* and others.

 

When it comes to dancehall fire and groove, we see sounds like *Azonto*, *Final*, *Joro* and others.

 

Talk about visuals, Wizzy has got serious vibes on videos. In his video for *In my bed*, we see a rich blend of luxury and vibe.

 

On features, he doesn’t really roll with up and coming artists but get him on any sound and he smashes it. Songs like *Malo*, Nowo soke* and others.

 

On 5 April 2016, Wizkid became Nigeria’s first artist to be listed on Billboards Twitter Last 24 hours chart, following his guest feature on Drake’s Afrobeats-infused “One Dance” single, which charted at number 21.

 

On 12 May 2016, the song reached number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a position it kept for 10 non-consecutive weeks. “One Dance” went on to become an international smash hit, topping the charts in 15 different countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France and Germany.

 

The single became Wizkid’s first number-one single as a featured artist in these territories.

 

In 2021 wizkid became the most streamed Nigerian artiste of all time on spotify, with the total of 3,485,993,216 Billion streams across all credits.

 

Wizkid’s contributions to the Nigerian music industry have earned him several achievements. He is the most awarded African artist at the BET Awards (3), Soul Train Awards (2), Billboard Awards (3), iHeartRadio Music Awards (2) and MOBO Awards (4).

 

He is also a recipient of an ASCAP plaque for his songwriting contributions to Drake’s “One Dance”.

 

Wizkid was cited as one of the Top 100 most influential Africans by New African magazine in 2019. He is also the most awarded artiste in The Headies award history.

 

His net worth is currently at $4million.
